1st apt.

We went to the first apt today, and we came out heartbroken. Files and files of sick children, children with terrible illnesses, with AIDS, with no legs, with brain damage, blind, we did not find a child, they were all so very sick.
We went to walk a little bit as we needed to clear our mind and here are a few pictures, we are for the moment in the center of Kiev and it is very pretty. But cold, it is very cold. People here think I am from the country, so they speak to me in Russian, but I don't understand a word. The apartment is very cute, it was funny that at certain hour, the electricity just goes out and everything goes black, but part from that it is very cute. Pictures also. The next apt. is in one week, so we need to stay here and wait. There is a TV, but all in Russian and one channel in Italian. Does not help me hehe!

Kiev
After a long,long trip we are finally in Kiev . We are in a cute little apartment . Very tired so will write more tomorrow and take pictures. Night !

we are leaving, but short, short notice
We just got a call today, yes we are the 14 and they are telling us that we need to be in Ukraine on the 18 at 12h00. OMG, talk about short notice !!!! They are asking tons of money for the administration in Ukraine, we are in a panic, need to find the money, need to find the plane ticket, have the babysitter for the doggies, we are going crazy.
Will write more later, but for sure, I would have LOVE to have more time. Apparently they forgot our file on someone's desk since March 5. This is so upsetting !!!!! Well, need to do what we need to do !
