Exhausted

Wow we are are tired. Exhausted. I don't know why today I feel it more than yesterday. Maybe the sinus infection that I have for days or I guess I just miss home and my doggies and a normal life. It has been and still is such a roll coaster since we left with non-stop traveling, by plane, by train, by car, the stress is overwhelming. We are waiting for the court day, being afraid that something would go wrong...But everything will go just fine !
I would not say no to a bath, but no tub and we would LOVE to watch a movie in English or read something in French or English. Of course we took books, but we read it all already.
Beware if you need to go to the bathroom during the night, no more water at night. That makes the mini bathroom smell icky all the time, yuck !
Well, I just packed some lollipops for the children tomorrow and balloons, and a banana for my little boy and a juice. Tomorrow is another day....
Thank you for reading,
Nini

Everyday...

Everyday, we have a few dozens of little kids come to see us. They got use to us now, and started to call me mama, which is breaking my heart. They want presents and candies and balloons, they LOVE balloons!
I put little kitties on their eyes to protect their privacy, but this is what we have everyday. They wait for us and jump on me, and hug me and call me mama, pffffiou ! Difficult....

Our place

Yes, this is outside the apartment and the super elevator. This place cost more than my house in Canada and as you can see... Not the most pretty place !

Court Day, for now, April 19th

So, everything is going well.  Still have my sinusitis, and it is so painful, but administration wise, it is going well. We are kind of broke, because everything cost a lot and we need to pay here and in Canada and here, even if the country is poor, it is more expensive. Go figure.  So we are stuck in this no man's land for a month. At least in Kiev, we had things to do and to visit. Here.... Noooooooooothing.

For now, the court day is April 19th, in Ukraine, everything can change, but for now, it is the date.

Our translator who was living with us until now, just left, she was adorable and super good at her job, but living with someone and paying all their expenses is rather difficult after a while.

Here is my little boy, but until the adoption is legal, I do not want to post pictures of him. We are still in the middle of it and it is very stressful, but suffice to say, I am in love. He is a strong little boy with a big temper and he knows what he want.  (Or don't want).  We are going to see him everyday.  Lots of adorable kids in the orphanages. It is heartbreaking and I wish I could take them all.

Thank you for your thoughts and your prayers, I will keep in touch,

Nini xoxoxo
